Hello to fellow Gaia members.

I'm yet another seeker, like so many others here. I have been seeking for truth for a very long time, certainly since childhood. I am the midst of another little flurry of wisdom-seeking and have found this site. I've wandered through a few pods and so far I'm spending most of my time in “Is There A God?”

I still believe in Ultimate Truth and have sought it within Catholicism in which I was raised and branched most completely into Tao and Buddhism, though I've tried to integrate rather than switch gears. I still hold many of my original Christian ideas near to me, but delight in insights from Rumi, Wilber, and the usual suspects. I'm currently reading Aldous Huxley's “The Perennial Philosophy” which seems to be a classic among seekers of my sort.

I have quite a bit of science and math background (big nerd, so be it), and and work in the medical field. I continue to be fascinated by emergence and complexity theory and urge others to explore this realm of thought as it is central to the next change in human thinking.
